Built around the circle
The round architecture brings the train, the regulator and the openworked bridges into a 35 mm chassis. Its 6 mm envelope describes the calibre structure; the hands sit outside that envelope.
Calibre / 02
An openworked round calibre for Planetarium. A single regulator, a compact chassis and a distinctive Pluto–Charon display.
LCC-1R / Mechanical architectureDimensions refer to the calibre chassis, excluding hands. Images show the current engineering design.
Behind the architecture
The round architecture brings the train, the regulator and the openworked bridges into a 35 mm chassis. Its 6 mm envelope describes the calibre structure; the hands sit outside that envelope.
A fourth central hand represents the Pluto–Charon system. The display places its axis at the barycentre and uses a dedicated mechanical train and corrector.
The skeletal plates, bridges and exposed train make the architecture legible from both sides. LCC-1R is the movement platform used in the Planetarium design.
